 The
Performance models in this series are designed to accommodate large and
heavy specimens. These systems feature a damped suspended seismic
base with integrated impact surface, one-piece cast aluminum shock table
and dual electric hoists positioning system.
The massive steel base is isolated from
the floor to help attenuate any shock energy that would otherwise be
transmitted to the surrounding building. These systems are
outfitted with Lansmont’s TouchTest™ Shock Control
System for ease of operation.
These systems have the ability to test items weighing up to 2,500 lbs.
(1134 kg). Available table dimensions are 25.6 in. x 31.9 in. (65 cm x
81), 37.4 in. x 45.3 in. (95 x 115) or 48 in. x 48 in. (122 cm x 122
cm). With optional machine components, acceleration kit and shock
pulse programmers these systems can generate half-sine shock pulses up
to 1,000 g and durations as short as 2 msec.
