 The
Model 152 is the largest Shock Test System in Lansmont's standard
shock equipment line. This system has the ability to test items
weighing up to 2,000 lbs. (907 kg) with specimen dimensions up to 60
inches x 60 inches (152 cm x 152 cm).
The Model 152 utilizes a one-piece cast aluminum shock table that is
precisely guided by four solid steel, chrome-plated guide rods. The
guide rods are rigidly attached to a massive steel base that is isolated
from the floor to help attenuate any shock energy that would otherwise
be transmitted to the surrounding building .
This system can perform a wide variety of shock tests to a maximum
acceleration of 400 g. Damage Boundary Programmers allow the
operator to generate both half-sine and trapezoidal waveforms.
This system is outfitted with Lansmont’s TouchTest™ Shock Control System
for ease of operation.
