Shock Test System - Model 23 D |
|
The
Model 23D Shock Test System is an enhanced version of the standard Model
that is specifically designed to accommodate the more stringent shock
testing requirements of today's electronics field and Dell laboratory
certification in particular.
The Model 23D Shock Test System incorporates an electric hoist for table
position and utilizes a damped suspension seismic base impact surface.
The seismic base is a massive steel block that isolates shock energy
from the laboratory floor and surrounding building. Lansmont has
taken the proven Model 23 design to a higher performance level by
including an upgraded shock table and upgraded TouchTest™ Shock control
system.
The Model 23D has the ability to test items weighing up to 40 lbs. (18
kg) with specimen dimensions up to 9.06 inches by 9.06 inches (23 cm x
23 cm). The Model 23D's unique magnesium carriage design allows the
operator to produce nearly ideal half-sine shock pulse waveforms.
With optional components and shock pulse programmers the Model 23D can
generate half-sine shock pulses to 2000 g and durations as short as 0.25
msec. The Model 23D can be equipped to generate half-sine,
trapezoidal and terminal peak sawtooth shock pulse waveforms with optional programmers.
