Lansmont is proud to announce the appointment of Carl Bramley, Material Test Product Manager for the *PPT Group to the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) European Division (EUD) Board.
ISTA is a key player in enhancing packaging integrity and efficiency, paving the way for minimising product damage, optimising resources, and controlling costs during the distribution of packaged products. They achieve this by crafting and disseminating packaged-product test procedures, certifying packaging laboratories and professionals, and providing invaluable education, training, and support.
Carl Bramley's term as Director on the ISTA European Division Board commenced on 1st January 2024 and extends for a commendable three years, with the potential for re-election to a second term.
The ISTA EUD Board plays a pivotal role in advancing ISTA's global mission; thus, the focus will be on achieving the following critical objectives:
- Addressing regional transport packaging issues:
Recognising the unique challenges faced by the European packaging industry, the Board will proactively identify and address specific issues to tailor solutions effectively.
- Delivering value to members and the broader packaging community:
Through strategic initiatives, educational programmes, and collaborative efforts, the Board will enhance the overall value proposition for ISTA members and the wider packaging community in Europe.
- Developing an active and growing European membership:
The Board aims to foster collaboration and engagement within the European region, contributing to the strengthening of ISTA's global operations.
As a Director on the ISTA European Division Board, Carl will actively participate in annual and special board meetings, infusing his unique experience to shape the future of transport packaging standards in Europe.
